In the city of Sulis

we have found

our peace and solace,

back then 

and now again.

When closing my eyes,

I can still see

the reflection of lights

and moon on the river.

I can even smell

the late summer breeze

bringing first signs

of soon falling leaves. 

It's like being there

right now,

feeling your whisper

touching my shoulder

and craving

for the night

to be a bit longer.

It makes me happy,

still it's kind of sad too

to see the story of me and you

so close and

yet so far

till we meet, again.
