Sun will hide, the night will fall,
a lot of the monument will be tall,
how many children will scream and burn?
We are stupid, we never learn,
we never know, never know
how many lives will fall like snow,
how many hearts will be broken?
How many secrets will not be spoken?
Why she must be here?
So tell me what, I want to hear,
oh wait, you don't have to, I already know
this is a human show,
She is a human child,
not something wild,

Now demons run, dark will rise,
angels cry, hope dies,
when the child goes to war,
Mother's tears fall to the floor,

Now day will rise, demons hide,
there is no pride,
dead boys lie on the battlefield,
without a sword and shield,
but with a poppy in hand,
with the future in the sand,

the battles are done,
