You smelled in the air

Like first summer flowers
You brought in your kitchen
Like first chestnuts
Roasted under your chicken

Poetry is here
Every time of the year
Calms your depression
And dries up your tears

Like a streak of a light
During the darkest night
Like a helping hand
When you can't stand

So pick up the pieces
And write down your thoughts
A new born poem
Is a new life you brought.
