Four months ago I did not even know about your existence
And in a few days we’ll be separated by such a long distance
From the beginning I knew this friendship would come to an end
Even though it was so short, I am happy we were friends

And in the short time I always wanted to bring out the best of me
I always tried to be for you as good friend as only I could be
Even in the days when we were total strangers
I always wanted to be something like your guardian angel

When you were in trouble, I wanted to be your saviour
Because I always believed you deserve only good behaviour
I have never been able to ignore that you might be feeling bad
And you also have a talent to cheer me up when I’m feeling sad

Thanks to you bad days can become quite bearable
And it’s mostly the days I spent with you which will be unforgettable
And you seem to be excellent at making me smile
It’s enough when you say: „mi amiga“ or just a simple „hi“

You can’t imagine how much it means to me on those days
When I feel like a loser or that nobody cares
And there is so much more that I would like to mention
I can’t describe with words what makes you so special

But I’ve always liked talking to you from the very start
And though the language barrier sometimes makes it hard
Conversation with you is never boring and always seems to flow
When talking to you I sometimes think my personality grows

And you must have magical skills, you can see into my head
Even without seeing my face, just on the Facebook chat
And in my eyes you’re really SOMEBODY, you have my admiration
For being so strong and getting over all of the complications

And with you I’m really myself and don't wear a mask
I know saying goodbye to you won’t be an easy task
Because it was really nice to have you in one phase of my life
And I know I’m gonna miss you, 'cause I’ve already cried

What else can I say – for your future I wish you all the best
